Time for another post....

Well I guess I have not really gotten off to a great start with this blog thing!  We had a great Christmas and the boys and I enjoyed two weeks off work and school.  We were all sad to go back to our normal routine but on the bright side every day gets us closer to the summer and lake season!  Speaking of lake season, Bill has been hard at work building a new boat dock for all of us to enjoy this summer.  It will likely take until summer to build but I am sure it will be worth it!

As of last weekend our family has shrunk.  We have two fewer mouths to feed.  I am talking about Preston's lambs.  The Archer County show was last weekend and after showing his lambs for the judges on Friday and then showing them for the auction on Saturday, we sold them and left them at the barn that night.  I was worried that Preston would be very sad after spending the last 7 months with them, but he handled it pretty well.  He showed both lambs and got 4th and 6th out of 6 in the class.  It was all a great learning experience for us and we will be better educated next year.  Preston has decided he wants to show a pig next year so we will see.  Enjoy the pictures below!
